August 2021 Greater Edmonton Real Estate Activity

We had another strong month of sales this August when compared to previous years indicating that the strong buyer demand we’ve experienced still has legs. With an increase in inventory, we saw a moderation in the overall sales price’s month-over-month and a shift into a more balanced market.

What to expect this September? We usually see reduced sales as we slip into the fall-winter season, and I expect this trend will hold true. However, while we should see less sales than in August I wouldn’t be surprised if we exceed the number of September sales we’ve seen over the last few years.
