June 2021 Greater Edmonton Area Real Estate Activity

We once again saw record monthly sales but noticed some moderation in the Single-Family category. It declined 6.94% month-over-month while the Condominium and Duplex categories held steady. The good news for Buyer’s is the increase in inventory along with the number of new listings. Adding more choice will help balance the market and ease the pressure some have felt trying to make an offer in a competitive market.

As we move into the summer expect to see the typical cool down in activity but with good interest rates and pent up demand the market should still be fairy robust.
